UKES Rail carried out the new installation of a 400A TP+N DNO supply along with 185mm parallel feeder cable to a Network Rail maintenance depot.
A new MCCB panel and associated switch gear was also installed and new supply to a porta cabin office block and new car park lighting with sensors and daylight regulation.

UKES Rail were tasked with the relocation of multiple lighting columns on platforms across the station to aid with driver visibility of train signals.
Lux levels were checked to ensure no impact on passenger safety resulted in the relocation works with some columns needing extended outreach brackets.

UKES Rail were engaged to carry out a full detailed design on a Network Rail Form G template for the installation of new electrical supplies throughout the station. A full set of intrusive surveys were carried out which included load monitoring and capacity surveys of sub-surface ductways and cable management systems.
UKES Rail were engaged to replace the existing life-expired aesthetic lighting across the concourse spans to a new, colour changing lighting system that can be fully controlled by station staff to align with national days of support.
Lights were also installed with pigeon spike protection to protect them and passengers from birds using them as perches.
UKES Rail have started on the annual maintenance of the largest solar bridge in Europe.

Additional lights were also installed to illuminate the adjacent bicycle storage area and lights were chosen that dim to 10% when nobody is around to aid with energy efficiency and light pollution.
